Sabahar makes handwoven textiles from Ethiopian cotton and silk, along with imported silk and linen, at its workshop in the Mekanissa area of Addis Ababa. About 100 staff handle silk production, dyeing, spinning, weaving and finishing, and part of the weaving is done by spinners and weavers in their own homes. The company sells scarves, throws, towels and blankets at its retail shop next to the workshop and through its online store.
