Ethiopian Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing, known as EPHARM, is a medicine maker in Addis Ababa founded in June 1964 and a pioneer of pharmaceutical manufacturing in the country. Its factory in Lideta has ten production lines making more than 150 products, including tablets, capsules, syrups, ointments and dry powder vials. Products include antibiotics, pain relievers, cough syrups, oral rehydration salts and medicines for chronic conditions.
