Debre Metemaqe Saint Mary is an Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo church in south Phoenix serving the Orthodox community of the Phoenix area. The congregation bought its church in January 2003 and began services there in March 2003, after years of worshipping in rented halls. The church has a prayer hall for about 200 people, a hall with a kitchen and classrooms for children, and is raising funds to build a cathedral.
