Amhara Bank is an Ethiopian commercial bank that opened for business on June 18, 2022 after the National Bank of Ethiopia licensed it. It was founded by more than 163,000 shareholders and offers savings and deposit accounts, loans, trade and remittance services, mobile and internet banking, and an interest free banking window called Marhaba. Its head office is on Ras Mekonnen Avenue at Leghar in Addis Ababa.
