Debre Genet is the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo parish of Winnipeg, dedicated to St. Mary, St. Gabriel and St. Arsema and established in 1997. It serves the faithful in Manitoba with church services, a Sunday school for young people and Amharic and Ge’ez language classes. The parish also supports newcomers and is raising funds to build a permanent church building in Winnipeg.
